Holden’s Napa Adventure…

I didn’t realize I was being so mysterious! But now you know it’s simply that we had a little quick Napa getaway. Tom’s folks gifted us with the trip…they came along the first day and did the wine train we met them at the station and then enjoyed the WARM Napa day.
We rode the gondola to Sterling vineyards, and Holden learned how to say gondola.

Then we ventured to this castle...but alas we couldn’t get in…they charge for tours and it is not kid friendly…But the steps were quite fun!
After the castle we had an excellent dinner, and Holden blessed us with perfect behavior. As we headed to our inn we enjoyed the beautiful scenery…Holden after a long day went to sleep right away and we didn’t hear a peep from him until the next morning…

The next morning, Holden discovered the hair dryer can also be a vaccuum…well at least in your mind. Seriously its so fun when your kid can be so easily entertained!

And here it is the fountain…We were staying in one of the mansion rooms, and this fountain was outside the mansion on the way to the spa…seriously very relaxing…Holden loved playing in it!

Holden headed home with Grandmere and Grandpere, while Tom and I experienced the wine train
they did make a stop at Corner Stone Gardens, which Grandmere said was a GREAT place for kids…they had all kinds of things to build, climb on, and a huge sandbox! Holden had fun…

Tom and I got to stay another night sans child, which was really fun! But I will write about that in another post… It was great fun so thank you Grandmere and Grandpere for the trip!

So sorry there was no real mystery…
