December 2 – Fall is Hanging on | DPP 2014

Fall, my favorite time of year, even though it is my busiest, I look out at the leaves changing color, sometimes falling such that it looks like colorful snow.  I love this project because it makes me stop and notice.  I am surrounded by fall color where we live, trees line roads, and properties in brilliant hues.  It’s like a sweet “Hello” from God, or maybe it’s His way of whispering “I love you” on days when I need to hear it most.   Either way its a gift I will gladly accept, as I smile and say, “I love you too”.  This week major rains are coming, which means the trees will let go of their leaves, probably for the last time until fall, as that happens we will embrace the chill and gray of winter and look forward to all it has to give us. And the boys will hope for snow:-)

Please join me on this December Photo Project, participate yourself if you can!  Leave me a comment with where you will post you DPP project and I would love to see what you are up to this December:-)  I am also posting my dailies on my Life|Stop Photography Facebook page, so you can join in there as well!  You can see previous years images here;-)
